Use the discount sites on the internet, but have your secretary do it all and demand prices cheaper than the travel agent. 100% stress free and you still don't have to do anything!
Ken, I suspect that you have substantial turn-over, in your "secretary do it all" position. I can only hope that I misinterpreted your message and it's tone and no, I am not, nor have I ever been a secretary because I would SUCK at it.
I was a travel agent for about four years, out of college, while trying to "find" myself and it was BY FAR the most stressful job I have ever had and I have had several since then, as I am 54. It's not that the job is so stressful but having to deal with unreasonable clients and their unreasonable "demands", that made it less than enjoyable. The travel benefits were great and I was able to see the world, however, travel incentives for the travel agent, are up there with the dinasours....gone.
