Time for a New Job
Many of us are unhappy in our current employment, but we don't do anything about it. We get into a routine and are afraid of change or simply can't afford the financial risk involved with quitting. However, sometimes it's just time to quit. Here are some signs that it's time for you to hand in your resignation.
1) Your job is making you sick. If you're finding that the stress from work is so overwhelming that you're actually ill, the job is not worth it.
2) You have no room to grow. Perhaps you came to your current job as a novice but now have more skills that are underutilized in your current position, or perhaps your company has given you more responsibility but hasn't given you pay raises or changes in title to reflect it. You can probably receive a better offer from somewhere else.
3) Your company is having financial troubles. This means that your job will probably become more stressful while your pay becomes more unreliable. Don't go down with a sinking ship; start looking for a new job before you are fired.
