The Data Doghouse is the home of Rick Sherman's "unleashed observations on the business and technology of performance management, business intelligence, and data warehousing." When he's not blogging, Rick provides data warehouse and business intelligence consulting, training, and vendor services through his Boston-based firm Athena IT Solutions.

Rick has more than 20 years of business intelligence and data warehousing experience, having worked on more than 50 implementations as a director/practice leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and while managing his own firm. He has published dozens of articles and writes columns for DM Review and TechTarget's SearchDataManagement.com. He is an industry speaker at conferences, seminars and webinars, and also teaches at Northeastern University's Graduate School of Engineering.
