I'm with LarryH. Vic if you're talking long term you need to look at a monthly chart. little over 5 years ago it was trading in the $6 range! let the monthly technical indicators tell you when to get back in.

Will 2008 Be the Year of the Bear?

One other very ominous technical signal not mentioned above is the fact that the 13 week exponential moving average closed below the 34 week EMA for the S&P 500 this week! There have been only a few of these signals in the history of the market that were false calls. If this signal remains intact at the close next Friday 01.11.08 the odds go way up that this is a bear market.

Simon Property Group: My Kind of Dividend Growth

technically speaking, SPG appears to be completing a descending triangle at the end of a multiyear uptrend. When this happens over 59% of the time the breakout from the triangle is to the downside. Once this happens at around $85(not adjusted for dividends), the first downside target is about $46.

you are correct, it is the inverse or reciprocal of the relative yield. I made the same comment on their home page. I'm sure they're busy but it would be nice if they would respond to our comments.
