Algonquin Power: A Promising Renewable Energy Income Investment

On the advice of an investor newsletter, I bought this stock on monday. The stock went up 8% on that day and I was pleased. On Tuesday, the company announced a drastic reduction in the dividend and the stock crashed. It is still struggling to come back. I have also been burned on other suggestions by this newsletter. The author of said newsletter does not know what he is writing about. Like Enviro 111, I am in a holding pattern on this stock.

I bought this stock on Monday morning because it had been recommended as an income security. It went up about 16% that day. The next day it sold off about 48% and I later read about the drastic dividend cut. I feel very betrayed and angry. Like a previous poster, I have no other choice but to wait and hope the stock recovers somewhat so I can sell and depart. I don't believe I can ever trust the management of this company, assuming there is a management.
