      Debating the Lehman Collapse
      Should a liquid and healthy company disappear due to a vulgar display of power by the trading community? Seems so. Then the stock market is no longer a legitimate institution and it should be reformed.
      After Lehman, just any publicly traded company could be the next victim.

      It's probable that this secular bear market will go on for some time. However, take into account that markets usually trend only 30% of the time, so my bet is that we will be navigating a really boring range-bound market for some time. Once volatility decreases, stocks may start to regain positions.

      ¿Can heavily short selling a stock be a way to ouster its management team or annihilate a competing company on basis of a rumour?
      So if the stock market is a place for company's to get public financing, it's clear that this all comes at a price.
