Looking at Berkshire's Q3 Holdings by ROE, ROA and ROI

thank you indeed, saving us a lot of time. ROE, ROA and ROI they are all important but which one of the three is the most important ? and is there a minimum % return you are looking for before you invest in a company?
Thank you for your help, any help is appreciated by those who also read and/or answer to the article and the comments.

A Buy & Hold Forever Dividend Stock Portfolio

makes a lot of sense to me.I own both ,stocks to buy and hold for the long term ( dividends higher than the average) and trading stocks to take advantage of the highs and the lows offered to us occasionally. Nothing wrong with those 2 styles of investing. To avoid the stories like GM why don t you use stop losses on all your buy and hold stocks? Also always keep in touch with the performance and news of your buy and hold. Buy and hold doesn t mean to ignore it completely forever, stay alert and be ready to make some changes if necessary.

agree with a lot users here all those numbers are not up to date and don t correspond to the buying prices.I have a lot of respect for mr Buffett but please do not write false information about his returns.

I am 110% with Hoser, that s what smart people are doing.Ever heard of OPM anastos? Other s People Money, use it wisely and you will be rewarded .Wisely means don t spend more that you can afford and always pay on time the balance owed. My wife and have been travelling once a year using the free air miles and thanks to my discipline or should I say thanks to the lack of discipline of others.

the reason for this poor article , if we can call it like that , is free advertising. Absolutely no subtance,no opinions ,no recommendations, anybody and I really mean ANYBODY can do that with of course a purpose in mind,their own interest not our own (the small investors).

Bearish Calls:

Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
Annaly Mortgage (NLY) -- I think this is a business model that needs to borrow money. Definitively do not buy."
