  • The Antidote to Economic Malaise: A Culture of Collective Mindfulness
it seems that the justicial system we have is inefficient, corrupted , at the service of the rich crooks that can afford the best teams of lawyers in our country. Can you name one CEO, CFO,CFF, members of board of directors
from all those financial institutions that rewarded themselves for their incompetence, for closing their eyes on what was going on, to fatten their bank accounts at our expenses, investors or not. You see the small investors are so impoverished now let s go after everything that is left, the taxpayers of course , the people that spend itelligently, wisely, that don t want to have anything to do with the markets. Poor suckers that we are.

Yes indeed, like you said, telling everybody you are sorry is not enough .But they take us( the small investor and may I add naive) for
granted with the blessing of the governments, all those institutions
that are supposed to protect the small investors. But once again if they really were on our side it would be the end of capitalism (riches get richer and poors get poorer). All the fat crooks walk freely and we must work until we die.

  • More Financial Pitfalls Ahead - S&P
HMCCLUNG who was the president for the last 8 years? that crisis I agree with you might have started before Bush but what did he do to stop that greed that was going on for the last 8 years? But again I partially agree with you again because I would blame Greeny (Greenspan) first and secondly Bush. What a fiasco, do we need another revolution? What happened to those fat Cats ( CEOs, board of directors, CFOs,...) ?
I bet you they walk freely and they ll have a better Xmas than the rest of us
and wondering what can we do with the taxpayers money. A good example of this behaviour AIG, isn t it?

  • European Banks To Consider - Barron's
a lot people know exactly what s going on with this bank and that bank.I just can t stop laughing when I see all those comments, most of them ridiculous at best. Marketfolly, hedge funds are party animals, they live day to day ,they short today and next week they might be long on the exact same stocks. If you don t understand the mechanism of hedge fund just watch Cramer ,he was one of them. But the point of this article ,that you didn t understand, is to position yourself for the recovery. Maybe tomorrow ,maybe in a month, maybe in a year but it will happen,I sure hope you know that .

I wished that David elaborated more on RBS. I do own some shares and can RBS sustain such a high yield ? What s the main valid reason for such a fall? Why more than it s peers? Thanks David , I always enjoy your articles and it s a nice tool for the people like me that pays attention to dividends.

  • The SEC's 'Sacred Cow' List: Where Are WaMu and Wachovia?
foreign banks? is it because they have their head office in another country? all those institutions have money invested everywhere including USA. But I agree with the fact they should all be protected
no privileges should be attached to only a handful in the same sector.
thanks for the list and all that goes with it,really interesting and valuable tools.

  • Short Sales: SEC Turns Back the Clock to 1931
MRTAXX i agree with most of what you said except one thing ,the SEC knows how to do their job ,which is to help the financials out of their mess at the expenses of all of us. I invite you to read Richard Wending s message that is so accurate, thanks by the way Richard for something that becomes clearer about the SEC s intentions. But is this really a surprise to the small investors and also to the taxpayers.
