The Rise and Fall of Oil: Roach Motel Theory
Well, CrossProfit, you can say what you want but I still like the "Roach Motel" theory. It could almost become a law since it does seem to be universal. Phil is too smart to have missed the point you make. He is on another plane of the market.

Debunking the Bear Case for Energy
Mr. Trent is wise about many things however he needs to gain a little wisdom re: his espousal of the "peak uranium" idea. His use of weasel words (usually reserved for enviro-whackos) such as "...there MAY not even be enough uranium...". Uranium is one the most abundant elements on the earth. It will be many of Mr. Trent's lifetimes before we even come close to running out of uranium. Maybe before then we will have developed fusion power and won't need to go the lengths of removing it from sea water.

I have much the same question. I looked on the BLS site and can find nothing like this. Did you derive these charts from their data?

Apple vs. Dell: Like Comparing Fresh Apples and Rotten Oranges
You can get an indication of this from some of the tech blogs and their replies. There has been a considerable amount of dissatisfaction growing over Dell's poor quality - both in their hardware and their service.
