Lenny Dykstra: Smart Guy, Nightmare Advisor
I've been commenting for years that Lenny is a disaster because he has no risk management. Everytime people comment about it, he avoids the question.

He started out free a couple of years ago, disappeared for months right around the start of the bear and then comes back as subscription only. I'm quite certain he flamed out with severe losses before coming back as a subscription.

I really think that your are being nice with all your compliments. I've used a few different words...

Thanks to JasonC for his rational comments

Clearly he knows far more than the author or the other commentors and should be writing articles, not commenting on them...

      Stocks: A Bear Case
moonbat - it's the dividend increases that make the difference. It's the 3.5% that turns into 20% 10 years from now that matters.

Bearfund nailed it - dividends and covered calls are everything for anyone who holds stocks for more than a few months at a time.

The Recession Is Already Priced Into Stocks
I loved the article but this statement "Unless you think we’re headed for a stock market crash or depression, now is a time to buy stocks." is just down right stupid. We're in a crash in case anyone noticed.

Planned, Cautious Buying Amidst This Panicked Selling
The bet on the end of the world has been a loser for many years now

S&P is down 45% and I'm buying quality and selling calls - as much as I can get my hands on

      Fear Is Not a Strategy
      Great article

Plenty of market timing geniuses on here I see

Like JasonC I am a long term dividend investor who has been moving into the market over the last year and will be for next few years. Because of that and a lot of buying this week I am down less than half of the market. I won't be so lucky on the next bear.

      Happy market timing

AAPL's Time For Greatness Is Now
There's no greatness here, just another company like all other companies trying to suck up profits any way it can.

It's finally reasonably priced - I would take a 1/2 position here and slowly complete your position down to $80 if you can get it.

Hold a tight stop when it goes over $160 and the AAPL fanatic fools start piling in

The Google Phone: It's Not Just About Google
Google is desperately trying to recapture the hype thats slowly draining from it. Something besides search has to work right? So far no and their phone pics do not look enticing.

As for playing this with AAPL stock, it's another sinking stone - can't wait for the hot air hype to come out of this thing too.
