Jim Cramer's Mad Money Lightning Round Picks, 6/14/07
I'm curious if Jim Cramer reads Motely Fool and yesterdays article about NSTK.
Last summer rodman&renshaw and Needham made astounding forecasts for NSTK and 10 months later the stock is down 40%.
Motely points out how inaccurate they are. I guess no one is perfect including Cramer too.
Next quarterly earnings report is a disaster but maybe Jim Cramer can make it look good.
He should have been a Plastic Surgeon, he is quite good at it.
And the rumor of a buyout is the laugh of the year. It's going to more like an auction because no one would want a company with a past performance or current performance like nstk.
SEE WHERE THE PRICE WILL BE AT THE END OF DECEMBER 2007 BECAUSE ALL THE INVESTMENT PERIODICALS CAN'T BE WRONG ABOUT 'NSTK'.

Mr.Cramer look at 'nstk' vs 'bmrn' statistics of each company
      sales,debt,return on equity,gross margins,money in the bank,QTLY GROWTH
Now look at pipelines bmrn has quite a pipeline
now look at price $11.95nstk vs $13.95bmrn
look at 5 year -10 year chart, bmrn has always done better and is consistent
Now if you touted 'BMRN' AS MUCH AS YOU TOUTED NSTK I COULD UNDERSTAND.
SECONDLY, INVESTORS WOULD HAVE THE ODDS IN THEIR FAVOR AND WITH A PROBABILITY OF BMRN HITTING A TARGET PRICE OF $24 DOLLARS WOULD MAKE YOU A HERO AND PUT YOU BACK ON TRACK OF SELECTING A
WINNING STOCK VS. AN INSANE STOCK LIKE 'NSTK' AND TOUTING IT 15X'S TO DATE!

      Miriam Metzinger or Jim Cramer
IS THIS STOCK "NSTK" ALL THE PROMISE OF BEING A TRUE FUTURE SUCCESS STORY REALLY?
I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SINCE THIS PARTICULAR COMPANY HASN'T ACCOMPLISHED MUCH THESE PAST 24 YEARS TO DATE, SPORTING DISMAL
EARNINGS THE PAST 5 YEARS AND THE REST OF THIS YEAR, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST A POOR-46% RETURN ON EQUITY, LOW SALES, POOR EARNINGS, A MINUS IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNT AND BEING OVER FINANCED, A COMPANY
THAT WILL BE A STORY BOOK ENDING.
FOCUSING AND TOUTING THIS COMPANY WITH CONSISTENCY FOR 10 WEEKS
BY CRAMER IS RED FLAG TO ME, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE A HALF DOZEN STOCKS AT ALMOST ONE-THIRD THE PRICE OF NSTK THAT HAVE GREATER POTENTIAL OF APPRECIATION AND BETTER NUMBERS TO MATCH!
CRAMER HAS DONE MORE FOR THIS COMPANY IN 10 WEEKS THAN 'NSTK'S'
      PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT!
I GUESS ALL THE INVESTMENT PERIODICALS THAT ARE WELL KNOWN IN THE INDUSTRY MUST BE ALL 100% WRONG ABOUT 'NSTK' AND JIM'S RIGHT!

Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! Stock Picks and Comments 6/8/07
JUNE 10TH, 2007 *CRAMER LIKES NASTECH'S OBESITY DRUG BUT MARCH 3, 2006 Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK) dropped over 35% yesterday because Merck terminated its involvement NSTK's inhalable obesity drug. SO IS THE REPUTATION, AND CREDITABILITY OF MERCK IN QUESTION FOR DROPPING NASTECH'S OBESITY DRUG?
They gave it up because of why? Too busy with other drugs, or can't use the money if it's successful, or couldn't be bothered with it? Now they have P&G but they delayed their payments to NSTK in December for 9-12 months
which isn't what shareholders want to hear. I mean the future is today not 2-3-5 years from now!
I'm sorry but the wrong message is being sent to shareholders and potential new shareholders because of his celebrity status, don't you think. LOOK AT THE COMPANIES STATISTICS, SALES,DEBT,RETURN ON EQUITY,
MONEY IN THE BANK, QUARTERLY GROWTH, ETC., THEY ARE DISMAL. THEY ARE OVER FINANCED TO THE TILT!
1 IN A HALF YEARS AGO ON CRAMERS SHOW, HE STATED A NEGATIVE ABOUT NSTK AND DIDN'T RECOMMEND IT,
SO WHAT'S THE SUDDEN OBSESSION? THE KEY IS WHERE WILL THE PRICE BE AT THE VERY END OF DECEMBER 2007 WITH THEIR RIDICULOUS EARNINGS REPORT!

      GOODMORNING VIC,
When even a T.V. personality who has the power within recommends a stock that is not worthy for any human being to purchase and invest in, I am compelled to interject under the constitution of the United States.
As a small example of my creditability compare 'NSTK' VS. 'NABI'. Almost the same market cap, but one has higher sales, more promise, better pipeline, and a product that brings in big sales. Yet one stock is $5.25 and the other is $12 dollars. Due d.d.on this stock and you'll see for sure why I elaborate the way I do. This is a stock that should be mentioned on Cramer's show for investors not Nstk. Save this posting VIC and see which stock does better sir, in 12 months!

A plaque? How about a cruise around the world for Jim Cramer and his family
should be more like it! He keeps touting a company that has had more disappointments than the description of the word NEGATIVE in the dictionary to date! Nastech should get the Plaque for existing these past 25 years and lining the pockets of management and having a grand old time legally!
I concur that I don't get it either re: nstk and why he touts this stock at all!
      I smell something too!

RE:NSTK by jim Cramer*The reality is that management should send him a Plague for what he personally has
done these past 9 weeks for the stock. Instead of it being around $9 dollars and change he and he alone through
his followers has kept this stock around $12 dollars. Even the CEO, Dr. Quay said that if they do get a approval,
and that's a big Maybe, it won't be until 2009. As far as earnings so far this year it's a disaster. And more of the same is throughout the rest of 2007. So is this a play for shorts only? Because Nastech hasn't accomplished anything significantly in the past 25 years as of yet. BuyBuyBuy. That's 12 buys on Nastech.' So what's the motive, what's the reason? The company has to spend $2 dollars currently to make $1 dollar. I like Jim Cramer but
something smells fishy with this nasally stock, don't you you think? I just don't get it! The company raises money through a new offering, then gives themselves raises and new option offerings to boot! Not my money, Thank You!

      Biotech Buyout Frenzy Continues
      H.S.AYOUB GREAT ARTICLE!
Since my first love in the stock market is "drug"stocks... I wish to share with you an average investors point of view. Investing in drug stocks is no different than play roulette. You can buy a dozen stocks and hope your number comes in. However, spreading your money all over the board limits your net return and can even cause a loss.
The simple way is to focus on a half dozen stocks that have the % probability of hitting more than the rest! With that said, if the average investor today 5/22 were to invest in the following, a year from now it's more probable than not to double or nearly double your money on the following:
ACUS, INCY, NABI, XOMA, UPBS, AND BIIB.
FROM A $1 DOLLAR AND CHANGE ON UP AND
ONLY FOCUS ON THESE LEAST EXPENSIVE STOCKS WHO HAVE EARNINGS,PIPELINE AND GREATEST CHANCES OF BEING BOUGHT OUT TO TOP IT OFF! WHEN YOU FIND HIDDEN GEMS LIKE THESE INVESTORS CAN SIT BACK AND RELAX! You'll be laughing all the way to the Bank!

Housing Is Tumbling Even Faster Than Reported
      Queens, New York
The areas of Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village, Maspeth, Elmhurst,Rego Park and Forest Hills,
have been selling as of late, however they are selling close to assessed value or about $25k-$35k below assessed value. These homeowners are able to find buyers now and the rest of the homeowners will sit in denial probably to the end of 2007. So if the trend continues, and the homeowners who understand that an adjustment needs to be made in order to sell, then houses will level faster within 12 months in these specific areas of Queens. Pricing the Home right is Key especially before summer and the fall with all that's going on in today's market crunch.

Sector Strength in Materials, Weakness in Biotech
I tend to agree with Mike 7 Woodson, but I like to add that some investors are obsessed with certain biotech's and no matter the news, trends, or reality of approvals, they keep buying with both fists. No matter if their stock has gone down 50% in a course of a year.
Two examples are "nstk" and "gnbt". Even the message board of either company reflect the insanity of the shareholders. Whatever serious data published about either company, the shareholders pay no mind to it even if it's against the company.
I call it intoxication of the Stock!
